About ENJEE
ENJEE is an online women's footwear brand operating in India's fast-growing D2C fashion space. With a product catalogue focused on stylish, everyday footwear for women, the brand competes in a highly visual, trend-sensitive market where the shopping experience is as important as the product itself.
Despite having a quality product range and a growing audience, ENJEE's existing website was underperforming. High bounce rates, sluggish page load times, and a checkout experience that failed to inspire confidence were costing the brand real revenue every single day.
What Was Holding ENJEE Back
When ENJEE came to The Ecom Growth, they had a website — but not one that was working hard for them. Our initial audit uncovered several interconnected issues that were collectively suppressing sales:

Discovery & Website Audit
We began with a thorough technical and UX audit of the existing ENJEE website. This included analysing Google Analytics data, running Core Web Vitals checks, reviewing the full customer journey from landing page to checkout, and identifying pages with the highest exit and bounce rates. This discovery phase gave us a clear, evidence-based roadmap rather than guesswork.
Full UI/UX Redesign
The entire website was redesigned from the ground up. We crafted a new visual identity for the storefront that reflected the brand's feminine, stylish positioning. Key improvements included:
- Homepage redesign with strong hero sections, curated collections and social proof elements
- Improved product listing pages with better filtering, sorting and visual presentation
- Redesigned product detail pages with clear CTAs, size guides and trust signals

Shopify Liquid Customisation
Off-the-shelf Shopify themes have limits. To achieve the custom experience ENJEE needed, we worked directly in Shopify Liquid. Our backend work included:
- Building custom Liquid sections and blocks for unique layout requirements
- Creating dynamic content modules that updated based on product tags, collections and inventory
- Implementing custom promotional logic tied to product variants and customer segments
- Developing reusable snippet components to keep the codebase maintainable and scalable
Speed & Performance Optimisation
Website speed is directly tied to conversions — every additional second of load time costs sales. We carried out a comprehensive performance overhaul:
- Image compression and next-gen format conversion (WebP) across the entire product catalogue
- Lazy loading implemented for below-the-fold images and content
- Removal and deferral of render-blocking JavaScript and CSS
- Reduction in unused code and third-party script payloads
- Core Web Vitals improvements across LCP, FID and CLS metrics
Conversion-Boosting Offers & Promotions
A beautiful, fast website still needs the right commercial levers to drive purchases. We designed and built a suite of promotional mechanics engineered to increase conversion rate and average order value:
